You may have noticed that we’ve stopped listing breeds for our pooches—unless we know the dogs’ genetics for a fact. You see, folks tend to associate certain behavioral traits with each breed, and that can lead to assumptions made about the dogs that simply aren’t true. Because heck, only 2% of a dog’s DNA determines its physical appearance! All of that said, there’s no doubting that Gus is pure Lab. Feel free to stereotype away! The happy-go-lucky Lab? That’s Gus. The high-energy, wriggly, goofy Lab? Gus again. The retrieving retriever? Oh yeah. The poorly behaved, emotionally damaged, destructive shelter dog? Okay, you can stop there. Gus is a well-adjusted, outgoing guy who’s already got a repertoire of obedience skills to show off. If you’re looking for Lab, plain and simple, come meet Gus.

Oliver left his top hat and monocle at home, but he can’t hide the fact that he’s pure class. Soft and well-groomed; calm and poised; friendly and handsome … what more could you ask for in an older feline gentleman? Oliver would be content perched atop a cat tree all day, but he does prefer society and would rather warm your lap. In accord with good manners, Oliver doesn’t ask for much. Give him just a couple of tasty meals a day and some good thorough back strokes or ear scratches, and he’ll always remember to say thank you with unconditional love!
