One day, you and your twin sister are living situation normal; the next day, everyone you called family is gone, and you’re eating dry cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Poor Tina and Gina. A local property manager found these girls abandoned in an apartment, navigating garbage and scrounging for food. Their long coats were severely matted and their dental health piteous. But the sisters don’t hold a grudge. Tina and Gina are among the most affectionate and outgoing cats we’ve hosted, and have made themselves right at home at HSCC. We treated them to a spa day at the groomers, and they now sport lovely lion cuts. We think these ladies deserve a new standard of situation normal—we’re talking pampered. Might you be willing to spoil them rotten?

Meeeeeet Sashaaaaaa! A fun-loving three year old, Sasha believes that the biggest crime in life is taking oneself too seriously. Yes, she’s currently homeless … but that’s no reason to feel down! Sasha chooses to focus on the good things: walks with different volunteers every day; playtime with her pals at the shelter; new folks to meet during adoption hours … Okay, so finding a new family to love as her own would be a lot better than living at the shelter. But in the meantime, Sasha has no trouble staying positive, and keeps herself busy learning new tricks to show off to shelter visitors. Will you come see her tricks? Admire her lovely smile? Laugh at her lopsided ears? We promise you’ll leave happier than you came.
